VERA in the Intelligenthive: a standard, but extensible
Intelligenthive provides support for industry standards through its unique “Industry Models” that are based on an open-source technology. That VERA is now included as an Industry Model is good news for Housing Associations that would like to connect to this standard, but do not want to deal with all the complexity involved. With our solution, it not only becomes possible to easily and quickly connect a Housing Corporation to this standard, but also to extend and adapt this standard in a simple & controlled way. Recently, Beeminds also announced its support for the municipal standard, the Municipal Data Model (GGM), announced.
Thus, through a user-friendly portal, it is possible to implement extensions or modifications to the data model that apply to a specific municipality, without losing the underlying relationship with VERA. As a result, standard data deliveries & reports continue to work.

About VERA
VERA is the technical elaboration of the Corporation Reference Architecture (CORA) and was developed in close cooperation with corporations, suppliers and chain parties. VERA arose from a market demand to make these standards practically applicable. The future of the VERA standard is partly influenced by the continuous feedback and further development of other (open) standards such as CORA and DICO.
