We are pleased to announce that Sven van Egmond is joining our team as a member of our Advisory Board.<\/p>\n

Sven van Egmond (Head of data at DPG Media)<\/h2>\n

Sven on his new role; “After my career in marketing management within the corporate world and strategic marketing consulting at Synpact and later The Entrepreneur (DPG Media), I decided to enter the data era in 2018. Currently, as Head of Data at DPG Media, I am ultimately responsible for data engineering and tracking of all digital products. <\/p>\n

I have a special relationship with the Jheronimus Academy of Data Science (JADS) in Den Bosch and add value by sharing my knowledge and experiences with students as a Practitioner. In addition, from DPG Media we work together with JADS and the University of Amsterdam (UVA) through the so-called ICAI lab <\/a><\/u>which provides space for five PhD students. <\/p>\n

I see that the ‘gap’ between what organizations want and can achieve with data will only increase in the coming years. The current IT & Data landscapes are generally unable to facilitate this. Large and forward-thinking organizations solve this by automating their data foundation, which allows them to access, manage and deploy their data smarter. This is not attainable for every organization.” <\/p>\n
